Why this, why now?

It seems to me that the zeitgeist has taken a sudden turn on data. Data now underpins every business. We need to be talking about the myriad issues that go towards making data and our data products robust, secure, and safe. The other important thing we need to keep in mind in the midst of this data revolution is that behind the data are people. And this means that we need to be talking about things like cyber security, information security, privacy and so many more issues.

What kind of community is it meant to be?

This is meant to be a place for anyone who is trying to make sense of the data revolution. It is meant for data practitioners, data nerds, and other folks who are trying to navigate this brave new world of AI.

How often and what will I share?

The newsletter will be monthly. It will probably include three sections:

1. Stuff I am thinking about

2. Interesting links

3. Recent podcast episodes
